protest marches over delay in fulfillment of demands for pension, enactment of protection law

Bhubaneswar, March 15: Thousands of members of Odisha Union of Journalists (OUJ) on Friday held demonstrations across the state, including capital city Bhubaneswar, protesting delay in declaration of pension for scribes and enactment of Journalists Protection Act.

 

The protesting scribes wore black badges and raised slogans demanding fulfillment their demands. In Bhubaneswar, the scribes led by OUJ president Prasanna Mohanty held a protest march to press for the demands.
