NUJ(I) strongly opposed restriction on Media in NIT Srinagar

 

New Delhi, April 6, 2016 : NUJ(I) has expressed grave concern over imposing restriction on media in the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar after the clash of students groups. The NUJ(I) feels that the district administration of Kashmir has no right to impinged the freedom of the press.

 

NUJ(I) President Ras Bihari has asked the authorities to take necessary action and should lift the ban orders into the premises of NIT. He assured the state scribes that the NUJ(I) will meet central authorities in this connection so that freedom of the Press should be procured and unnecessary tension could be avoided in the premises.
