NUJI National Conference to be Held in Agra on June 6–7
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, S.P. Singh Baghel, Dayashankar Singh, and Yogendra Upadhyay to Participate
Conference to be presided by NUJI President Ras Bihari
New Delh June 04, 2026:- The National Conference and National Executive Meeting of the National Union of Journalists (India) (NUJI), affiliated with the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), will be held on June 6–7, 2026, at the J.P. Auditorium, Khandari Campus, University, Agra.
More than 200 members representing 25 state units of NUJI will participate in the conference. The event will be addressed by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Minister of State S.P. Singh Baghel, Uttar Pradesh Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh, Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, MLA Dr. Dharampal Singh, and Prof. Ashu Rani, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. The conference will be chaired by NUJI President Ras Bihari.
In a press statement, NUJI l Secretary Genera Pradeep Tiwari said that various issues concerning the media and journalism profession will be discussed during the conference and the National Executive Meeting. He also informed that the schedule for NUJI's organizational elections will be announced during the conference.
NUJI National Organizing Secretary Pramod Goswami stated that the first session of the National Conference will be held on June 6 at 3:00 PM. The chief guests for this session will be Union Minister of State S.P. Singh Baghel and Dayashankar Singh. The second session will be held on June 7 at 11:00 AM, with Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya serving as the chief guest.
NUJ Uttar Pradesh President Surendra Dubey and General Secretary Dwijendra Sharma said that an organizing committee has been constituted for the event. The committee includes NUJ Uttar Pradesh Vice President Ajendra Chauhan, Secretary Piyush Sharma, NUJ Agra District President K.P. Singh, General Secretary Dilip Surana, Secretary Nitin Srivastava, and Vice President Sachiv Srivastava.
