New Delhi. The elections of Delhi Journalists Association, affiliated to the National Union of Journalists (India), will be held on September 10, 2024. According to DJA Returning Officer (2024-2026) Mr. Ashok Kinker, the election process will start from August 24, 2024. President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Vice-Presidents (4), Secretaries (3) and Executive Members (15) will be elected in the election.

The election schedule is as follows: Nominations can be made in the election from 24 to 31 August 2024. Nomination papers will be scrutinized on August 31, 2024 and names can be withdrawn till September 3, 2024. Voting will be held on September 10, 2024 and the counting of votes will be done after the voting is over. Only members who have deposited the membership fee will be able to participate in the election.
